“ My coworker ordered from here for another coworker's birthday. I was responsible for picking it up. The place is located off a fairly busy street in New Brunswick where parking can be tight. When you walk in, it's a small restaurant but with a decent amount of seating inside. It was earlier in the day so the place was quiet, probably just opened up. Walked in and our food was ready. We ordered the platter of chaufa special. We've ordered from here before and the food is always great. Only got the chaufa, which is Peruvian stir fried rice with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Decent ratio of meat and rice. The meat and rice is tender and flavored well. Comes with sauces which to be honest not sure what they are but goes well with the rice. The hot sauce does have a decent kick to it. As I did not order it myself, I am not sure what pricing is like and I've only gotten there chaufa so can't speak on their other items. But their chaufa doesn't disappoint and is well worth a visit. ”
“ Very unassuming place however the food is magnificent! I ordered arroz chaufa w shrimp it was so big I couldn't finish it. Keep it up great food great service ”
“ My new favorite restaurant for takeout! The lomo saltado is flavorful and they give you nice sized portions. Service and quality of food is consistent. ”
“ This is our go to for Peruvian takeout . Lomo is always excellent and portions are generous. The aji verde sauce is also delicious- they make it on the thin side but my partner loves it. We always purchase a small container for for home. If you order delivery please keep in mind they have a $45 minimum which is kind of bummer considering we are about 5 miles away. We end up picking it up. The inside decor is nice with adornments, TVs playing football- a no fuss place. ”
